Attendance Support

Carers, Childcare and Additional Support

The NEPG Conference group are committed to supporting equity, diversity and inclusion.

This page contains information about on-site support and accessibility at the conference, however if you do not find the information you are looking for, or would like to discuss your requirements in more detail, then please get in touch.

Support To Attend

This conference is fully funded, therefore there is no charge to attend.

We are currently investigating the possibility of providing a grant to fund care for any dependents/family members etc who may need additional support whilst you are attending the conference, more information on this will be published in due course.

At The Conference

Childcare

We are also investigating the possibility of an onsite crèche; if you think you would use this option then please get in touch as soon as possible.

Baby Care Room

We welcome babies and children at the conference and breastfeeding is welcome anywhere in the conference venue. If you would prefer a more private area a room will be set aside for you to use for feeding, changing, or just having some quiet time away from the busy conference. There are also baby change facilities available within the unisex disabled toilets.

If you are planning to attend with your child then please let us know; we are more than happy to discuss any additional special requirements with you.

Carers

If you care for someone and would like to attend the conference with them, you are more than welcome, there will be a quiet room available for some time away from the busy conference and if you have any other special requirements then please contact us prior to the conference.

Quiet Room

Space will be provided for any delegate wanting a quiet moment away from the conference.

Accessibility

The Civic Centre is a fully accessible building, with ramps, disabled access doors, disabled toilets and lifts. The building and event spaces also offer facilities for the hard of hearing.
